This is the MK IV model made in 1990. It is made from one piece of A2 tool steel. There is also a compartment in the handle. It contains a compass and lighter. I have carried this often during deer hunting. It is of high quality and has served me well.

Yes, the handle is comfortable and easy to grip. The lighter uses "lighter fluid" which is very close in properties to gasoline. Lighter owners report acceptable results with naptha, white gas or gasoline as a substitute.Rakshas

Да... Нож не из лёгких, как и все ножи из этой серии. Примерно столько же весит шикарная Nkonka. Ну, может, чуть больше.Сама идея таких ножей мне нравится , но именно немалый вес делает их неудобными и для ношения, и для работы.
Исключение составляет разве что Shadow. Он и поменьше и полегче.
IMHO.
