Если бы Браунинг был и первым человеком, который сделал самозарядку, и первым, кто сделал бы её удачно, это уже попахивало бы тем, что он вообще пришелец - или из будущего, или из космома.

Может быть французы и первые я не против! Но этот механизм для какого патрона калибра??????? Согласитесь организовать механизм перезарядке 12 калибра, подачи патрона и магазин на 4 патрона, даже я бы сказал Браунинг сделал СЛОЖНЕЕ механизм, если взять механизм в сборе!!!!

тут имеет место газоотводный принцип действия автоматики. Т.е. совсем иной, нежели у Браунинга в его знаменитом самозарядном ружье.

Я заслуг Дж.М.Б. не принижаю 😊 Конечно эта система не имеет с А5 конструктивно ничего общего, за исключением идеи автоматической перезарядки. Калибр 12/65. Магазин в прикладе на 5 патронов.

Пилон вроде как американец (постоянно проживавший в Мексике 😊 ), а работал в Брюсселе с 1857 по 1865. Идея его патента прогрессивна для своего времени ( объеденить храповик и затвор до него наверно не пробовали 😊 ), но немного из другой оперы. Назвать это "проект самозарядного ружья" язык не поворачивается.

Browning remains a major player in the international firearms, gun safe, outdoor clothing and sporting goods industry. Browning, along with Winchester Repeating Arms, FNH USA and FNM are owned by Fabrique Nationale, located in Herstal, Belgium.

Historical Note:
John M. Browning's father, Jonathon Browning, was a pioneer and an innovative gun designer himself. Before coming to Utah by wagon train as one of thousands of Mormon pioneers in the 1850s, Jonathon owned a gunsmithing and gunmaking shop in Nauvoo, Illinois. After coming to Utah, Jonathon set his inventing aside to deal with frontier living. After estabishing a successful blacksmithing business, a store and gun repair shop, the stage was set for John to start designing firearms in the back of his father's shop and . . . making history.
